How we started

Cookwork is born in May 2018, from a partnerships between Elodie Bouscarat (Co-oking) and Karl Magnus (Proef). Cookwork aims at becoming the first professional kitchen rental platform in Belgium  and in Europe.

Elodie is a born-foodista. Food lover with an entrepreneurial spirit, she co-founded Co-oking in 2014, the first food coworking in Belgium. She developed a community of over 2000 food professionals and helped Co-oking double its turnover year 2 of operations. With her geek profile, Elodie managed the project development of Cookwork MVP and béta plateform.  

Elodie is CEO and business developer for the french-speaking market. 

 

Karl Magnus

Karl is gastronomie’s Don Draper. Outstanding coach and innovation strategist, Karl launched and developed hundreds of innovative food concepts and HORECA projects. He founded PROEF.org, a food-incubator, in 2015 where he helps existing food-brands, cities and start-ups to generate and build breakthrough new ideas and concepts. He matches his client with the right strategy, target-group and channels and continues to develop the food and horeca of tomorrow in Flanders booming food-market.

Karl is CEO and business developer for the Dutch-speaking market.
